Paul Walsh

Paul is an experienced performance coach with a passion for coaching individuals, teams and businesses to improve their effectiveness.  He pursued this initially as an award-winning Dale Carnegie instructor, an independent consultant and as head of training for a FTSE 100 company.

Paul is also a presentation and facilitation skills trainer.  His lifelong interest started at school and carried on through Dale Carnegie and is now manifest in his membership of Toastmasters International, the leading global not-for-profit communication and leadership training organisation.  He has been in charge of various responsibilities for Toastmasters in London, where there are over 40 clubs and 1500 members.

Paul joined Shirlaws as a business coach in 2008 and is renowned for combining empathic and project management skills to ensure that coaching projects are successfully implemented.

As well as being a licenced Dale Carnegie instructor for 16 years, Paul is a former Chartered Marketer, has a Masters degree in Training, and is a member of the Association for Coaching.  His broad experience ranges from working with SMEs and corporates to the public sector in UK, Europe and the Far East.

Outside of work, Paul is passionate about his family and is a mainstream sports fan.  Paul loves the ritual of the seasons marked by great sporting and cultural festivals.
